About the Author

After over 20 years in the entertainment field and a decade in management positions, I have switched gears and now strive to creatively inspire people into action so they can grow to their fullest potential as a leader. I aim to do so with a little pizzazz as I have a colorful outlook on the world around me. Being on both sides of the table, I have seen and tried many different tactics to develop the management style I use today. It has helped me gain respect and prove my credibility with both my employees and upper management.

I’ve grown up between Orlando & Satellite Beach, Florida, but also spent time soaking up all New York had to offer during a few of my formative years. I’ve been a dancer, theme park performer, Event Manager, Admissions Officer, Character Manager, Production Manager, Show Producer, Choreographer, Casting Director, Stage Manager for live events and stage shows and now I am in my newest adventure as a Manager of Event Productions so follow along on my journey. Although my past is quite diverse I believe it has all attributed to who I have become and how I developed my management skills.

My blog topics tend to fluctuate between helpful management techniques, Fibromyalgia, sewing, dancing, relationships and rants of what it is like to live a day in my life. No matter the topic I choose to tackle, I like to always put my spin on what I write so my audience gets to enjoy it through my eyes. I enjoy writing in my small amount of spare time, so starting this blog in January of 2011 was an exciting adventure. It was in May of 2011 that I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia and since then I’ve been learning how to keep moving along as close to how I always have. It sure isn’t easy, but I’ll be blogging about my experiences as I know others out there face the same Fibro challenges each day. I hope you enjoy what you find here and come back to visit often. Feel free to subscribe so you’ll be notified when new blogs are published. Thanks for visiting!

  1. Hi, I saw you were following me and wanted to check out your blog. I love what you are doing. I can totally relate. I have fibromyalgia, question where I’ve been and where I’m going and like to focus on the good in life.

Your blog is so enjoyable to read. I’m really looking forward to reading more about how you are coping with daily life as someone who had fibromyalgia. I’m a fan and am now following your blog as well. 🙂
